How to contribute back to Mother Earth?

The condition of mother earth is not a secret. From a millennium, man has harmed mother nature in different ways be it by cutting trees, throwing garbage everywhere on mother earth, etc. The world’s current state is taking a massive shift in terms of change in the environment. Whether you believe it or not, the impact has humans have had on our environment is undeniable. Unfortunately, our mother nature has come to a point where healing is very important for it. It is high time to contribute back to our mother earth to get things back to normal. So, here are some ways that you can start following to give mother nature some love and care once again because Earth day shouldn’t be the only day we save our planet.

  1. Stop cutting trees:- Trees are essential for the survival of our planet. Trees produce oxygen, clean soil, control noise pollution, and reduce soil erosion. They provide food, protection, home to birds, and mammals. We should stop cutting trees and start planting them to improve our planet.

  2. Stop using harmful household cleaning products:- Household cleaning products are filled with chemicals that are bad for animals and for humans as well. The chemicals in many cleaners are common pollutants that reduce the quality of the water. These toxic household cleaners release in drains and get mixed with the water of rivers and oceans. Usage of harmful household cleaning products should be stopped to save our environment.

  3. Stop using plastic:- Plastic waste is a widely recognized problem all over the world. Plastic is very harmful to our planet as it takes thousands of years to biodegrade. While getting rid of plastic waste we often forget that the real environmental problem is the production of plastic. It takes a lot of energy and resources to make plastic which is the actual cause of global warming.

  4. Unplug electronic appliances:- Unplugging your electronic appliances when they are not in use is a very important step to save the environment. When you consume less power, you reduce the number of toxic fumes released by power plants, conserve the earth’s natural resources, and protect the ecosystem for destruction.

As we all are stuck in this global pandemic, we don’t have other options rather than staying at home. You can also contribute back to mother nature by staying at home and growing plants at your home. It will reduce pollution from the air and will improve air quality. Cakesongo is a single destination for cakes, gifts, flowers, and plants as well. You can check our plant's collection to order.
